Whist Gilles lived in Paris at the biginning of his professional career, working with Comme des Garçons , Hermès, Kenzo and Lanvin , Fermin worked in Barcelona with Marithe & Francois Girbaud. Fermin later created his own Multi-brand concept store in Sitges (Paul Smith, Moschino and Katerine Hammet )

In 1995 Gilles Saint Martin and Fermin Serret decided to create Fermin & Gilles Stylist 

They can provide an account of their long and varied journey in the fashion world as Stylists, creative consultants, advisors and promoters of fashion , where they worked with Burberry , Puma , Etnia Barcelona , El Corte Ingles, and Zara . In addition they styled public figures such as John Hamm, Antonio Banderas , Quim Gutierrez, Ferran Adria, Oscar Tusquets, Luis Figo and Rafael Marques, among others 

They also worked with renowned photographers such as Maria Espeus , Jose Manuel Ferrater, Manuel Outumuro, Juan Aldabalderetrecu  and Biel Capllonch .

Later , they were responsable for the image of Jose Luis Zapatero, in his presidential Campaign.
